A cold jump for a worthy cause.

On February 27, 2011, Alexandria, MN hosted the Polar Plunge at Arrowwood Resort. The event is to raise money for the Special Olympics. This years turn out was outstanding and everyone was ready and willing to participate.

 Many area organizations joined the party as large groups. Costumes were encouraged and Silke and I happened upon a duo dressed as the Blues Brothers.

 These two brave souls jumped in for a worthy cause and even gave a little 'Blues Brothers" dance before going in.

A good time was had by all and the turn out was really impressive. We showed everyone our pictures of the event later on and we were constantly asked the same question each time. "So are you guys going to do it next year?"

A quick response of "No" was given each time.
